Welcome to our website, Exmoor Photo Gallery is the web name for our parent company Exmoor Photography.
These images have been taken in and around the Exmoor area, over the last 15 to 20 years to the present day.
They include locations on Exmoor such as Dunster, Dunkery, Minehead, Porlock, Snowdrop Valley, Malmsmead, Lynton and Lynmouth, and the Somerset Levels, Catcott Lows and Shapwick Heath. I always look for views and perspectives that are unusual or different when photographing well-known beauty spots like Landacre Bridge, Tarr steps, Robbers Bridge, Culbone Church and Oare church.
My Passion is for Red Deer on Exmoor, we are very fortunate to have some fine specimens of these graceful animals.
We also try to include as many of the resident mammals and bird life in our portfolio as we can. We are constantly looking to add additional species to it.
Some of the best evenings I have had in recent years have been spent watching and photographing Barn Owls on the Somerset Levels. These are one of my favourite birds, its brilliant watching them almost float through the air on a warm summers night.
The beautiful countryside that Exmoor and Somerset has to offer and the constantly changing seasons never cease to amaze or intrigue me. I have spent nearly 20 years exploring this area. As a disabled person I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful landscape on my doorstep. I definitely find visiting it very therapeutic. I would recommend it to anyone that needs to “recharge their batteries.”
